This is the beginning of a collection of A3 size oil paint portraits, which will be ongoing in order to gain a representative documentation of the identities that shape our society today. More so, these peieces act as a reflection of depiction in highlighting transnational, hybrid and multi-cultural identities. 

Background colour proves significantly important in these outcomes. Particuarly, they hold an ehanced colour tone of pigments of skin colour such as red, pink, orange and yellow. This suggests an ironic element of identity whereby skin colour is the main aspect to which we associate with ethnic identity.
